This past week, West Seattle became the first school in the district to hit decuple digits for the amount of times “67” had been said on campus. An amazing feat, all students and teachers are very proud to call WSHS their school. Sorry losers at Roosevelt High School reportedly came in close second to this record, hitting their one billionth a day after West Seattle.
One defeated Roosevelt student said, “We really tried our best and put our best foot forward, but at the end of the day, our best just wasn’t enough. West Seattle is just a better school, and we were just lucky to have the opportunity to be neck and neck with them for so long.”
A tearful West Seattle High School freshman said, “I wouldn’t have been able to get to where I am today without the help of my friends, family, and my 20-hour screen time average.”
After hearing about the well-deserved win West Seattle captured this week, an ecstatic WSHS student explained, “It’s been a long-time goal of ours to come this far and beat everyone else at the game. ‘67’ has only been a part of my life for a short time, but the impact it has made on me has been lasting.”
The same student continued, expressing their unmistakable wildcat pride. “I’m pleased at the effort I made to help our school get to where we are now and am honored to have been a part of such a meaningful achievement. I hope everyone continues to deliver their A-game and represent our school in all the best ways.”
